Privacy Policy
This page is maintained by BimOne to explain what information we collect and how we use it. Last updated November 2025.
1. Who we are
BimOne is a Barbados-based marketplace and business platform. When we say "we", "us", or "BimOne" we mean the team operating this site.
2. Information we collect
- Account: name, email, and profile details you provide.
- Listings & business data: content you publish (photos, descriptions, hours, menus, products).
- Messages & orders: messages you send through in-app chat and orders/bookings you place.
- Device & usage: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and diagnostic logs.
- Cookies: essential cookies for sign-in sessions and preferences.
3. How we use your information
To operate BimOne, verify listings, deliver messages and orders, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support requests, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third parties we rely on
- Hosting & database: Lovable Cloud (Supabase) for account, listing, and messaging data.
- Maps: Google Maps Platform for locations and map tiles.
- Payments (when enabled): PayPal handles payment card details directly — BimOne does not store card numbers.
- AI features: Google Gemini processes prompts used for moderation and business assistant features. We do not send AI providers your password or payment details.
5. Content moderation
Public listings, business pages, and reviews may be reviewed by staff and automated tools to enforce our Guidelines. Content flagged as unsafe or illegal may be removed.
6. Data retention
We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 8).
7. Children
BimOne is not directed to children under 13. Please do not use BimOne if you are under 13.
8. Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data by emailing privacy@bimone.bb. We aim to respond within 30 days.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted transport (HTTPS), scoped database access rules, and least-privilege service credentials — but no online service is completely secure. Please use a strong, unique password.
10. Changes to this policy
When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email.
