Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of BimOne. By using the site you agree to them. Last updated November 2025.

1. Accounts

You must be at least 13 to create an account. Keep your login details secure — you're responsible for activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

2. Listings & business content

You must own or have permission to post the content in your listing. You grant BimOne a non-exclusive licence to display, cache, and promote your listing on the platform. Prohibited content includes illegal items, counterfeit goods, weapons, drugs, wildlife, hate speech, and anything that violates local law.

3. Personal marketplace

Personal (non-business) listings are free. Meet in safe public places, verify items before paying, and never send payment before receiving goods. BimOne is a listings platform — we don't take part in the transaction itself.

4. Business accounts & subscriptions

Businesses can create free listings and upgrade to paid plans (currently BBD 50 / month for a Business Hub, BBD 25 / month for additional modules). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Settings; the plan remains active until the end of the paid period.

5. Payments

When you pay a business through BimOne, PayPal (or the business's chosen processor) handles the transaction. BimOne is not a party to that payment and does not hold your card details. Disputes and refunds are resolved directly with the business under the payment processor's rules.

6. Reviews

Reviews must reflect a real experience. Fake reviews, retaliation, and review-for-payment schemes are prohibited and may result in account termination.

7. Prohibited behaviour

  • Harassment, threats, or hate speech toward users or businesses.
  • Scraping, reverse-engineering, or overloading the service.
  • Impersonating a business or another person.
  • Uploading malware or attempting to gain unauthorised access.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Guidelines, or applicable law. You can close your account any time by contacting support.

9. Intellectual property

"BimOne" and the BimOne logo are trademarks of BimOne. The platform's software, design, and non-user content is © BimOne. User content remains owned by users.

10. Disclaimers

BimOne is provided "as is". We don't verify every listing or business, and we don't guarantee the availability, quality, safety, or legality of items or services. Verify important details before purchase.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, BimOne is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Barbados. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Barbados.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continuing to use BimOne after changes means you accept the new Terms.
